Cat completely ignored even when I tried to play with her using it as bait. She did sniff it but showed no excitement or interest. Tried both at different times. Makes me wonder if it got missed for catnip? She normally will get up on hind legs to reach for catnip

I have two cats, brother and sister. They’ll be one year in June. The female tore through one of these to get to the squeaker. She did this the second week we had the toys. Description of the toy says it has material that makes it harder for them to bite through. I’d say.. not really. I need to find something else now.

My cats are obsessed with these!! Even my dog is trying to steal one! Im ordering more! They really do have a strong cat nip lure in them!

I’ve had this catnip toy for a few weeks now, and my cat actually still uses it, which is a good sign because he normally loses interest in new toys pretty quickly. When I first opened it, he immediately started sniffing it, rubbing his face against it, kicking it with his back legs, and carrying it around.The toy is a good size for him to grab onto and bunny-kick. It is soft, so I don’t have to worry about him hurting himself when he bites or wrestles with it. The material has also held up better than I expected. He has bitten, scratched, kicked, and thrown it around quite a bit, and it has not ripped open or started falling apart yet. I still check it regularly just in case, since he can be rough with toys.The catnip smell seemed strongest when it was first opened, but my cat still comes back to it after several weeks. Sometimes he plays with it on his own, and other times I throw it for him or move it around to get his attention. It is also funny seeing him hug it and kick it repeatedly.It is lightweight enough for him to carry around the house, and it does not make noise or leave pieces everywhere. The design is cute, although the main thing I care about is that my cat enjoys it and that it feels safe and durable.
